what we do

Medicare Insurance

Jackson Medical Supply is an accredited company through HQAA and are authorized to do Medicare billing. This includes Medicare billing non-assigned for patients/customers who live in Solano County. 

  • Non-assigned billing means Jackson Medical Supply will collect money upfront for the equipment or service being provided.
  • If the item is a rental item, we collect money monthly for 13 months.
  • If the item is a purchased item, we only collect money one time upfront.
  • Your Medicare insurance is billed complimentary on your behalf and a refund check for what insurance refunds is sent to your address on file with Medicare.

Western Health Advantage

Once DME is ordered through your doctor either a) bring in your insurance information and/or prescription information to Jackson Medical Supply, Inc. or b) have insurance information, prescription information, and chart notes faxed to Jackson Medical Supply, Inc. Once we have all the information we need, Jackson Medical Supply, Inc. will submit the authorization to Northbay Healthcare’s UM department. It may take 3-5 business days for authorization to be processed and approved. The client may or may not have a copay based on your plan through Western Health Advantage.

Through Medi-Cal

Partnership HealthPlan of California

Jackson Medical Supply, Inc. bills Partnership HealthPlan of California. Once DME is ordered through your doctor either a) bring in your insurance information and prescription to Jackson Medical Supply, Inc. or b) have insurance information, prescription, and chart notes faxed to Jackson Medical Supply, Inc. Once we have all the information we need, Jackson Medical Supply, Inc. submits a Treatment Authorization Request (TAR) to Partnership HealthPlan of California. It may take 3-5 business days for authorization to be processed and approved. Once approved, equipment can be released to the customer/patient as soon as possible. Equipment may be denied if the patient has received the same or similar item within 5 years for a rental, 1 year for a purchased item or if Partnership does not deem the equipment a “medical necessity.”
